Chest Of Hope

All men are plants on the earth because mortal life is a seed planted. In growing, the plants require water and sunlight. God ensures that they’re given just that — and sometimes to the extremes. In love He pours these things as needed on them, because it’s His purest desire that they grow into everlasting plantations. You see, death to God is a curse — it is stunted growth. It is for a plant to prove itself worthless and unable to grow into the enduring, after being showered with the necessary nutrients for just that.

Life experiences, good times and bad; are water and sunlight to all plants. They challenge growth. With life experiences, the souls of men are faced with options; and with options, they as seeds choose what sort of plants they would become — the shriveled weed, the settling flower, or the striving tree. Furthermore, they live out these decisions based off of their inner worth. As there’s no force in all of the universe that is able to interfere with the worth of a man. It is self possessed!

Indeed it’s why some “good” people suffer much. It’s also why some “bad” people could be seen having great lives. Because if the storm, no matter it’s raging, couldn’t fell a tree, then it was proof that the tree was rooted forever — love was perfected in the soul. Such souls couldn’t give up on life. They keep striving and reaching for it till they touch eternal life. But if on the other hand, no matter the soil a seed was planted in, and it’s access to sunlight, a plant was unable to grow, then it wasn’t from the start, worthy of what eternal life is about. It itself refuses the structure of eternal life; and so when the storms come, it is broken down. The weed and the flower are loved by God however. But they do not endure. One is consumed by excessive sunlight, the other is uprooted by the raging storms. Only the tree thrives under both conditions.

Mortal men are seeds. But only the self-worthy amongst them grow into immortal trees. Immortality isn’t given — It is proven. Some never grow past being flowers — unworthy of eternal life, and satisfied with the span of a flower. Others prove to have in themselves, the courage to be eternal trees. And courage is just one of many riches found in the treasure chest that lies in the souls of those who shall be eternal trees. Courage with meekness, peace with patience, endurance, goodness and humble joy: these are some of many riches found in the treasure chest of eternal life. And the summation of it’s riches is Hope.
